Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the meeting planner.
How does the planner decide which times are good?
For every participant it checks whether the whole meeting, from start to end, falls inside the working hours you set (green), inside extended hours of 07:00 to 22:00 (amber), or outside them (red). A slot is only green for the group when it is green for everyone.
Does it handle Daylight Saving Time?
Yes. Every slot is a real moment in time, converted with the IANA time zone database through your browser, so DST changes are applied correctly for the date you pick. On a day when clocks change, the timeline has 23 or 25 hours.
Which date does the timeline show?
The date you choose is a calendar day in the reference time zone, which is the first person in the list. Use the star button to make someone else the reference. Other rows show their own local time, with +1d or -1d when their date is different.
Can I share my plan with colleagues?
Yes. Use Copy share link to create a link that contains your participants, date and settings, and anyone who opens it sees the same plan. You can also copy ready-made invite text, open a Google Calendar event or download an .ics file.
Is my data stored anywhere?
Your participants and settings are saved in your own browser's local storage so they are there next time. Nothing is sent to a server.
How many people can I add?
Up to 10 participants. Each one can use any IANA time zone, and you can type a city name such as Delhi or New York.
